Leadership Collaboration
Trusted advisors for business leaders

Leadership can be lonely at times. Our leadership collaboration services and programs bring together the professional modalities of consulting, coaching, and training for new leaders, senior leaders, and executives.

This work includes strategic, operational, and individual support, based on the current and evolving needs of each leader and the system they are a part of.

Designed for collaboration, growth, and traction

All of our leadership collaboration engagements include a Lead Trusted Advisor, Program or Project Administrator, and access to our team of Senior Consultants, Coaches, and support roles.

While there are a few ways for us to get started, below is a typical journey for the impact-conscious leaders we have been working with.

Impact Assessments (360°s)

A great first step is establishing a current (and full) understanding of your impact on others by exploring the alignment between how you believe you are showing up, and how others are experiencing you.

While we have a great 360° feedback tool that explores meaningful competencies across a range of different relationships, we also facilitate interviews (persona mapping), ethnographic observation, and other discovery activities to generate deeper insight and learning.

Meaningful Feedback Loops

Unlike most feedback tools and processes, our impact assessments are not anonymous. We believe feedback is an investment in relationship - paramount to deepening connection and trust - so we focus on helping people to develop awareness and skill in the art of feedback.

Our engagements include varying levels of information and learning for both feedback requestors and providers. This includes spending time with feedback requestors to make sense of the feedback they have received - being conscious of biases and assumptions - and supporting them with next steps.

Development Plans

At this point, leaders have a few different pathways for moving this work forward - some will seek to clarify or deepen their understanding on specific feedback, while others will hone in on an area they would like to focus their development on.

Either way, they will receive support in the form of accountability and traction from a Trusted Advisor and/or Coach (e.g. regular check-ins, project-based support, personalized coaching, team-based support, and more). This, to ensure that the meaningful growth they are after, gets prioritized and attained.

Testimonials

What some of our Spec-TACO-lar clients have to say

“I am so happy we chose to engage The Ally Co. to create an onboarding experience for our newest executive placement. The process was both inclusive and rewarding and set our organization up to succeed by highlighting important milestones in a deliberate plan, agreed upon in advance by our team. Personally, I found huge value in understanding the first 90 days of our new hire. This allowed me to be strategic with my early interactions and not risk overwhelming. This could not have gone better and was an excellent first impression for someone entering our environment.”
Mayor Jeff Genung, Cochrane
“The Ally Co. are passionate about creating environments where employees can bring their whole self to work. They lead with empathy and trust - building strong relationships across peers, colleagues and leaders resulting in change at a company and individual level. Their approach is empowering, thoughtful and personalized. I am fortunate to have them as confidants, trusted advisors, and friends.”
Meghan Armstrong, Senior Manager B2C Design at Glassdoor
“The Ally Co. came in to help our team and organization at Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids at a time when we were going through some difficult growing pains. Their approach was people-centred while guiding a clear and strategic path that acknowledged the growth and helped us become a more effective and efficient organization. They build trust with the people they are working with and lay a foundation for trust amongst the people. This ensures results for all.”
Tanya Koshowski, past Executive Director at Brown Bagging for Calgary's Kids
